CA Transparency Policy
The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010
On January 1, 2012, the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (“the Act”) went into effect in the state of California. This law requires many manufacturers and other companies who do business in California to disclose their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chains. Networx 1, Inc. (“Networx 1”) provides the following information below in full compliance with the Act.
Verification
Networx 1 evaluates the risk of slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain on a regular and ongoing basis to identify high-risk areas. This function is conducted by Networx 1 employees with knowledge of the relevant supply chains.
Auditing
Networx 1 conducts audits in high-risk areas to evaluate whether suppliers comply with company standards for trafficking and slavery in supply chains. These audits are conducted by Networx 1 employees with the necessary access and knowledge of our supply chain to conduct such audits. Often these audits are unannounced.
Certification
Networx 1 requires suppliers to certify their compliance with laws regarding slavery and human trafficking.
Accountability
Networx 1 maintains internal accountability standards and holds suppliers and employees accountable for complying with the standards set by the Company regarding slavery and human trafficking.
Training
Networx 1 trains all new hires with direct responsibility for supply chain management in high-risk areas on human trafficking and slavery. The Company also trains management with decision-making authority for source of supply to understand and execute its policies regarding human trafficking and slavery. This training includes information on mitigating risks of slavery and human trafficking within the supply chains of products.
